Many of you have experienced the great phone conversations and great reports about your dog from the outdated, "Pay me by the month," bird dog trainer only to find out at the last minute ole Scout didn't quite finish like he should have. Now you find out you will need to pay for another month of training, maybe two at the outside, before Scout is ready to go home. Or you've placed your dog with the pay me by the month, outdated bird dog trainer in a two or three month program only to find out the trainer didn't quite get the job done, but took your dog as far as he could and you need to come and get him and pay your bill.

In addition, for others of you who don't want to chance investing time and energy on a puppy that grows up to have a poor nose, a bad tail, runs hot, is lazy, has a weak desire for birds, is hard headed, ugly headed, or thinks he's self employed, then you should call and ask about my trained dogs for sale

I am not a dog broker. I do not go out and buy trained dogs from others, (which are generally rejects) for $300 or $400 dollars, mark them up to $3000 or $4000 dollars and advertise them to you. My dogs are out of my personal bloodline, selected over the years from the best bird dogs that have been on my place. In addition, all these dogs have been trained by me personally and have gone through the same training program that I offer to the public.

I have no interest in a field trial conducted off horseback. I have no pleasure in hunting a dog that I can not see. I want my dogs to want to stay with me in my search for upland game and to expertly do their work. The north-south dog is not welcome here but the east-west dog, commonly called a pattern dog can stay and so can his puppies. Bad bird dogs make bad hunting but Quality Bird Dogs make quality hunting.
